Costa Concordia
The article/story we discussed in class today was about a ship and its
captain. The captain of the ship chose the wrong and decided that it would be
fine to get close to the shoreline and assumed there would be no drastic
consequences, he was proved wrong when the ship hit a boudler and began to sink,
soon afterward the ship began to tilt over on its side. Unfortunately not all
the passengers were able to evacuate the ship on time, but the captain was able
to leave the ship before it was completely wrecked. This was a cowardly act
from the captain because he didn’t evacuate the ship, he abandoned it among
with all the passengers who weren’t able to evacuate on time, this is a
cowardly act from a captain and he is currently living with the consequences of
his decisions.
