If you know what is right, and you do not choose to do what is right, you are lacking courage, the courage to stand up and do what is right. You should always do what is right, it is the best thing you can ever do.

For example; If you see a thief attempting to rob a person of their belonging’s it is your righteous duty, if capable to physically stop them, if there is a possibility of physical harm then you can also do what is right by calling the police.

You can also do what is right by having the courage to stand up against the wrong, for say, legalizing marijuana, if you protest it, you know you are doing something right and you have the courage to go against those people who do want it legalized.
